"Excuse me, is this seat available?" Said a husky voice. Jun lifted his head from his book, and caught by his eyes, a man, looked a bit older than him, with a sharp facial line and full lips, wearing checkered shirt above a white v-neck t-shirt.
"I'm sorry, can I sit here? Because there's no other vacant seat around." He continued because it looked like Jun wouldn’t give his answer.
Jun took a short glance around, and indeed, the small outdoor cafe was already full of people who wanted to have dinner that evening.
"Sure." Jun nodded to the man, who immediately sat down on the chair opposite him while whispering his gratitude.
The waitress came to deliver Jun's order, and gave the man opposite him a menu. The man made his order and the waitress left.
Jun closed his book and started to eat his dinner—spaghetti carbonara. He lowered his head a bit, because the cafe table was small and a little too short for a tall man like him.
The table was so small, that when he ate his spaghetti, Jun could hear a soft sniffing sound not far from him. He stole a glance at the man in front of him, and watched the man was now inhaling and exhaling, his eyes closed, as if he was enjoying a certain scent.
Jun frowned, wondering what was that man doing, but then he remembered that he just had his hair treated with chocolate essence a while ago.
Ah. Maybe it's the scent of my hair that he is enjoying now. Jun thought, trying hard not to smile.
The waitress came to deliver the man's order, making him opened his eyes. That was when his eyes met Jun's, who failed to hide his smile.
Seeing a restrained smile on Jun's lips, the man blushed. He avoided Jun's eyes, and started to shift uneasily on his chair. He mumbled something like "itadakimasu", and then began to eat his curry rice.
Jun continued to finish his meal, while once or twice stealing a glance to the man, who was now trying hard to focus on his food. But sometimes, Jun could still hear a deep breath taken by the curry rice man.
He ate up his curry rice in an unbelievable speed, making Jun wondered, did the man even chewed before swallowing.
Jun had just finished his spaghetti, when the man left his seat, rushing to the cashier to pay for his food. After putting his book inside his bag, Jun followed him to the cashier. He stood behind the curry rice man in a queue.
The man threw a last glance to Jun after paying, and when he realized that Jun stared back at him, he blushed again.
"Mm, excuse me, but your bill had been paid by the man before you, Sir." Said the cashier girl when Jun opened his wallet.
"What—who?"
"Hmm... The man who stood in front of you just now, Sir."
Jun got surprised.
"I see. Okay. Thank you." He dashed from the cashier to the pavement, glancing around the street, looking for the curry rice man.
Jun found him. His sloping shoulders were easy to recognize. Jun ran towards him.
"Excuse me!" He called when he thought he was already in the man's earshot.
The man turned, and when he saw Jun, he looked surprised. "Uh, yes?"
"Why did you pay for my food?" Jun asked right to the point.
"Eh..." The man started to make awkward moves. "To thank you for letting me sit on your table."
Jun smiled. "You don't have to thank me about that. Here, let me pay you back."
"Ehh, no, no, no." The man shook his head. "You don't have to. Or I'll feel awkward..."
"No, really," Jun insisted, opened his wallet.
"Actually," the man spoke in a desperate tone, as his cheeks turned red once again. "It's an apology from me... I uh... Accidentally smelled the scent of your hair. It's... Sweet... Before I knew it, I had already sniffed it... I was kind of enjoying it... That was embarrassing, and impolite, so..."
Jun chuckled.
"Chocolate," he said. "It's chocolate. I went to have hair treatment earlier. I tried their new product, the chocolate essence."
"Oh..."
"Do you like it?" Jun grinned
"Um, yeah. It smells good." The man grinned back nervously.
Jun stretched out his arm. "I'm Matsumoto Jun by the way."
The curry rice man watched Jun's stretched arm for a moment, as if he didn't believe what he was facing now.
He then shook Jun's hand, blushing hard.
"Sakurai Sho."

A/N: woahh! I can't believe I wrote this! XD so random! XD
The idea came after I had my hair treated with chocolate essence xD
Beta-ed by mabopiman, who also suggested the title “ChocoJun” to me. The idea had been floating in my head since November, actually, but I still needed some change here and there, so, yeah...
Then I was so surprised when in Kotatsu De Arashi 2014 Aiba mentioned “ChocoJun” to shorten Jun’s new drama title, Shitsuren Chocolatier.
Then, could it be that mabopiman’s and Aiba’s thought are synchro? /bricked xDv
(though mabopiman herself had forgotten that it was her who suggested the title…)

Yap, I laughed really hard when Aiba mentioned "ChocoJun" in Kotatsu Arashi, because I remembered about this fic and mabopiman, who'se ichiban is Aiba. I think having the same thought with your ichiban is just cool! XDDD
About chocolate essence for hair treatment, yes, it really exist. I try it, and my hair smells like sweets for a whole two weeks! XD
My workmates protest about it, because they say the scent of my hair makes them hungry xDDDD
